Across South Australia, regional communities are looking for people to fill job vacancies in a variety of industries. 

StudyAdelaide is pleased to partner with organisations like Regional Development Australia (RDA), local councils, and government departments on projects to connect international students and graduates with employers in the regions.

This includes low-cost field tours to regional areas.

About Regional Careers Tours

These projects aim to provide students and recent graduates with the opportunity to:

  • Understand regional work opportunities
  • Meet potential employers
  • Meet members of the local and multicultural communities
  • Take part in site visits at local organisations
  • Tour the city/towns and find out more about the region and its lifestyle

If you would like the opportunity to be considered for these tours or other events to find out more about the career and job opportunities available in the regions of South Australia, please register your interest.

Further details will be emailed to eligible students once each event is confirmed. To be eligible, your studies and/or career outcomes must be relevant to the industries in focus for each event.

Upcoming Tours

Murraylands/Riverland Careers Tour

Join us on a 3-day, 2-night careers tour to the Murraylands and Riverland regions, designed to connect final-year international students and recent graduates with employers across Murray Bridge, Bowhill, Berri, Loxton, Renmark and Waikerie.

This tour offers the opportunity to explore diverse career pathways in the following fields:

  • Health & Care - including allied health, medicine, nursing, social work and community services, and more.
  • Education & Teaching - including early childhood, primary and secondary.
  • Engineering - with a focus on resources and energy, mechanical and civil.
  • Project & Environmental Management 

Tour Details:

Dates: Monday, 12 October to Wednesday, 14 October 2026
Time: Departing at 7.00 am on Monday and returning at approximately 7.00 pm on Wednesday (Adelaide Central Bus Station).

Registration fee:
This is an expression of interest. Students who are selected will be required to pay a $75 deposit to confirm their participation. Students who attend the tour will receive $25 back after the tour.

Transport, accommodation and most meals are included.

Key dates:

  • Expressions of interest close: Wednesday, 9 September
  • Successful applicants notified: Thursday, 15 September, with a payment link to secure a place and the draft tour itinerary
  • Refunds: Note that the booking deposit fee is fully refundable until Sunday, 4 October 2026.

Selected students will also be required to attend a compulsory Job Ready workshop on Thursday, 8 October, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
