Cyber Sleuths crack the Cyber Case, an interactive Who-Dunnit workshop
Curious about cyber security and how organisations respond when things go wrong online? Step into the shoes of a cyber detective in this interactive ‘Who-Dunnit-style' cybersecurity workshop designed especially for international IT students who want to build practical skills, explore career pathways, and gain insights into Australia’s IT workplace.
In this hands-on tabletop activity, you will work in small teams to investigate a simulated cyber incident. You will analyse clues, discuss evidence, make decisions, and piece together what happened, why it happened, and who was responsible. This workshop is designed for IT students and focuses on teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and understanding cyber risk.
The session is facilitated by experienced cybersecurity consultants who will share real-world insights and explain how cyber incidents are managed in Australian organisations.
This is a supportive and safe environment where you can ask questions, meet other students, and learn through practice. If you are an IT student interested in building employability skills or exploring future career options in cyber security, this workshop is a great place to start.
